About the studio

A focused space
for the finishing touches.

Subtitle Studio is a browser-based subtitle workspace by Veylunex. It brings your captions, video preview and timing into one place.

Designed around your device.

Video is streamed from a temporary local browser URL. Subtitle parsing, validation and export happen in the browser. Files are not uploaded to our servers.

Precision without a complicated setup.

Import SRT or WebVTT, edit every cue, split and merge captions, and fine-tune timestamps. Check overlaps and reading length, preview your local MP4 or WebM and export a clean UTF-8 subtitle file.

A draft you can return to.

Your browser saves subtitle text and settings locally. A JSON project backup keeps a portable copy. Your local video needs to be selected again after reloading; it is never stored in the draft.

Clear limits, useful tools.

Bilingual editing is manual. The studio does not generate speech transcripts, translate text or burn captions into video. The bundled nature video is a CC0 sample from MDN, with original English and Chinese demonstration captions rather than a spoken transcript.

Current limits are 5 MB and 10,000 cues per subtitle file, and 4 GB per video. Modern browsers supporting MP4 or WebM are required. Codec support varies by device.
