Understand your timing adjustment.
A positive offset makes subtitles appear later. Use a negative value to make them appear earlier. Time scale multiplies every start and end timestamp before the offset is added. A scale of 1 changes only the offset.
For example, +2 seconds changes 00:00:03.000 to 00:00:05.000. A scale of 1.05 lengthens the subtitle timing by 5%. Negative or reversed times block export. Use the full editor for two-point sync and visual adjustment.
