SRT uses numbered cues and comma-separated milliseconds. WebVTT starts with a WEBVTT header and uses decimal points. This tool detects the source format and creates correctly numbered, UTF-8 output.
Multiline text and Unicode are preserved. WebVTT cue identifiers, settings and STYLE / REGION / NOTE blocks are retained when exporting VTT. These VTT-specific fields cannot be represented in SRT. The tool reports malformed blocks and blocks export until you correct them.
